Hi, I am Carmelinda and it's truly my passion to be witness to the healing and empowerment that I believe is available to everybody. I began my own healing journey of anxiety, depression and co-dependency at a young age through the practice of yoga, movement, meditation and eventually Emotional Freedom Technique. I have since devoted my life to learning the tools to support others living below their own potential of happiness and inner peace. I am a certified Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga & Fitness Instructor and Certified Transformational Coach using the modality of Emotional Freedom Technique (NeftTi.com) as well as Conscious DJ. Throughout the years of my life I have experienced deep lows, change and relationship co-dependency and have come to see that the beliefs we often live by can indeed be changed from hopeless to hopeful and empowered. We all have the potential to see ourselves and life in a different and bright light. I aim to assist people to move beyond their emotional pain and trauma into the realm of possibility, self-confidence and joy. In this episode we discuss EFT, conscious DJ'ing, transformation, awakening and deepening the relationship with self.

Jade is an Out of Body Experience (OBE) researcher and Astral Projection teacher that advocates expanded states of consciousness for personal and collective change. After a life-changing OBE, she researched the transformative effects of the phenomena for her MSc in Transpersonal Psychology. Keen to raise awareness of the transformative benefits of Astral Projection, she produced ‘Insight Out’, an OBE film on Gaia TV, featuring worldwide experts such as best-selling author Eben Alexander, award-winning researcher Dr. David Luke and former NASA physicist Tom Campbell. She is the Astral Projection consultant for the Netflix series ‘Behind her Eyes’, and she won the 2021 Kindred Spirit Magazine Emerging Voice Award. As part of her ongoing self-transformational journey, Jade has lived in a Tibetan Buddhist Temple for five years, undertaken a pilgrimage around India, attended Shamanic retreats and trained with the Mindfulness Association and the renowned Monroe Institute. On top of that, Jade holds a BA Hons degree in Dance & Culture, a foundation degree in Movement Psychotherapy, and is a member of the Science & Medical Network and A Winston Churchill Trust Fellow. Dawna Lucier Episode S01 EPS 307

In the latest episode of the Empowerography Podcast, my guest is Dawna Lucier. Well my story begins over in Mumbai, India. I was found on the door steps of a Nuns Orphanage. No on actually knows my real age…as all I came wrapped up in was a blanket and a note that read. “Please take care of my baby girl”. I was a blank child. No body wanted me. Except my mother did the best thing she knew of at the time to do. Give me a chance at life. I was adopted in 1973, into a white Canadian family. They already had two children. But they were searching for another. As they had experienced an infant loss. One day they saw an ad in the Vancouver sun, about how this lady was bringing over children from India. So they reached out too see if they could adopt anyone. They wanted a girl. The first girl they requested wasn’t strong enough and passed. I was the next “healthy” one. Now as I type this and reflect on all the trauma and shit I’ve been though, I’m so proud I never turned to anything like drinking, smoking, drugs. I came and healed through all my shit with nothing but resilience, determination, fight, and love, love is what wins. I can happily say my husband and I are now more in love and growing together that if we hadn’t had that set back, I wouldn’t have found my passion or healed all my shit to become the founder, CEO of rebel soul coaching. In this episode we discuss being rebel, being a badass, trauma and healing and doing the inner work.

This organization supports local charities in her community. Another organization she has worked closely with is The Make A Wish Foundation, granting wishes for special children. With a direct correlation between girls in sports and women who become leaders, Kara credits many of her successes through the lessons she learned through her competitive Judo and Hockey careers such as resiliency and learning how to fail while still showing up the next day, ready to try again.
