Dawn McCarty is an international speaker and educator and over the last 20 years, she has developed a series of courses and workshops that go deep into her “Red Flag” training, exposing the devastating impact of child predators, identity theft, and other hidden online dangers, including the latest scam trends, catfishing, cyberbullying and more. For businesses, Dawn focuses her speeches and training on the individual, rather than the “employee” and covers topics from above as well as workplace bullying, cyber security awareness, and data security.
Dawn’s belief is that you cannot train employees at work and expect them to automatically practice good security skills at home because that type of training doesn’t transfer from the workplace. However, if you train employees as individuals, focusing on helping them learn how to protect themselves and their own personal data, that will transfer back to practicing good safety skills at work. In this episode we discuss cyber security, trauma, abduction, the healing journey and red flag training.
