In the latest episode of the Empowerography Podcast, my guest is Holly S Strelzik. Holly's personal journey, training and professional experiences have prepared her to serve those facing a wide variety of loss and grief. Her end-of-life doula and grief work led to the creation of Healing Heart to Heart, a private death doula and grief specialist practice in which she served for several years. After the onset of COVID was compounded by the death of loved ones and her husband's diagnosis with Alzheimer’s, a disease that has touched several people close to her, she began to see the need for widespread grief and end-of-life literacy and care. This has inspired the creation of the nonprofit Center for the Heart and the publication of her story in the latest volume of Transforming Pain into Purpose. She seeks to empower her clients and colleagues, her surrounding community and anyone else with whom she comes into contact. In this episode we discuss grief, the healing journey, trauma, death and loss, alzheimers and self-awareness.
