In the latest episode of the Empowerography Podcast, my guest is Michale Gabriel. Michale Gabriel, the Founder and CEO of Story by Design, is an award-winning storyteller, author, coach and leadership consultant. Starting in the 1980s, Michale’s international work in Russia and Ukraine promoted intercultural understanding and gained media acclaim. Her Young Storytellers for Peace US/USSR exchange program was the subject of an award-winning PBS documentary that aired nationally. Michale starred in a Soviet-produced film series, telling favorite stories of American and Russian children that reached 50 million Soviet viewers, earning her the nickname of Russia’s “American Fairy Godmother.” Her corporate clients include The Boeing Company in the US and India, where her Story by Design training is the cornerstone of several gold standard leadership programs. A resident of Costa Rica, Michale coaches private clients online, facilitates workshops and speaks at conferences on the power of story to change lives and create an impact. In this episode we discuss having impact through our stories, story telling, speaking from the heart, Young Story Tellers for Peace and story by design.
