As current CEO of Formé Medical Center, Maria is a dynamic and influential professional whose innovative, philanthropic style has inspired and helped many. Born in the Dominican Republic, Maria migrated to New York at the age of 15. Like many, she aspired to become a voice and 
presence, embracing opportunity. Realizing she had to learn a new language and acclimate to a new culture, Maria worked 
relentlessly seeking ways of prospering. Married at the age of 17, she continued her schooling, graduating high school and 
attending college. In March 2018, Formé re-introduced a unique program known as the “Formé Medical Membership” at Formé Medical Center. The program grants members unlimited access to Urgent Care and Primary Care services, as well as major discounts for laboratory testing, prescription drugs and specialty medicine to name a few, regardless of residency, financial or immigration status. Maria is co-founder of a non-profit organization called Promise to Aid, Inc whose mission is to improve the health and well-being of the undeserved community regardless of culture, legal status or 
economic background, serving to subsidize medical care for many suffering from chronic conditions due to financial restraints. She is the founder and driving force behind her movement, #ISayNoMore in which she has been committed to and worked diligently on in an effort to bring about awareness of this silent and obstructive act of sexual abuse and help the masses who are ready to speak their truth and rewrite their lives!
