In the latest episode of the Empowerography Podcast, my guest is Margo Sage. Margo Sage was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and is the youngest of four children. As the youngest she remained neutral in her adolescent years, but as a woman, now ensures that she has a voice. Her family moved to Toronto, Ontario in 1981, where she currently resides with her son, Wilkin and husband Mike. Margo attended McMaster University and Centennial College and has spent her career planning and executing special events, meetings & conferences and incentive travel programs in both the professional and not for profit sectors. In November 2007 Margo’s first husband died very suddenly and tragically, leaving her widowed with a four-month-old baby. At this time in her life she needed to look inside to find strength and courage to rebuild her life. She took solace from her incredible family, friends and the community that nurtured she and Wilkin through their incredible loss. In 2012, she met Mike and his son Christopher, and was given a beautiful second chance at life, love and family. Margo Sage is the international best selling author of Ordinary Miracles ~ Life After Loss. Margo takes her readers on her journey of loss as she writes about the peace, love and gratitude she’s found through her grief. Ordinary Miracles details how everyday miracles coupled with a focus on wellness and the resiliency of parenthood helped her raise her infant son and eventually find new love. One of the ways that she found peace on her journey was through yoga. Margo’s yoga and meditation practice had such an incredible impact on her life that she felt the compelling need to share its powerful beauty on both mind and body with others. In this episode we discuss health and wellness, mindfulness, being an author, ordinary miracles and dealing with loss and grief.
