In the latest episode of the Empowerography Podcast, my guest is Kathleen Sheppard. I am a Gratitude and Abundance coach. When my marriage of almost 37 years ended in May, 2017, I was gobsmacked. I didn’t know which end was up. I was in the middle of recovering from two whiplash concussions one month apart at the time. I was training for Ironman Arizona that fall. Six weeks after my ex left, my Mom passed away unexpectedly. I was lost, so very lost. I really don’t remember much of 2017.  In this episode we discuss neuropsychology, connection, personal struggle/loss, parenting, coping skills and mindset shift. Today, my gratitude list is very very long. I see abundance in the wind, the sky, the rain, fresh peas from the garden, laughing. So much to love about my life. I found this abundance last November. It came to me one day when I was out running. I realized that I was going to be OK. I am OK on my own. I know that I can figure most anything out and I do. Now, I teach other women how to find themselves after a huge transition in their lives. It is truly my honour to show these women how to get their voices back. I love to see a woman emerge from the chrysalis of her former life as a beautiful multi-coloured multi-faceted butterfly. I grin right along with her as each new pretty colour reveals itself on her wings. In this episode we discuss gratitude, abundance, iron man competitions, JOLT and life experience and shedding the skin of your previous life.
